Description for CNC Operator:
- Program setup and run Swiss CNC Screw machines to maintain high quality tight tolerance machined parts.
- Monitor multiple Swiss CNC machines in production
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturers
- Provide feedback and suggestions to management for continuous improvement of the company.
Details forCNC Operator:
- Pay:$30-$45HR DOE
- Schedule:Monday Friday
- Shift Hours:6AM- 3PM. M-F OT as needed.
Requirements forCNC Operator:
- Must be methodical and can read and program NC code.
- Must have experience with Swiss style machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Must be punctual positive minded & work well with others.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong leadership potential.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to work well in a highly motivated team environment.
- Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Prior experience in ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100 certification environments would be a plus.
- 2-year Technical degree (or apprenticeship)
- Minimum of 5 years experience setting up and operating multi-axis Swiss CNC
- Experience preferred in Exact Job Boss Unipoint and GAL6
