We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Executive Leadership team as the Director of Co-Curriculum. As the development of the whole person is a key aspect of a Jesuit Education participation in the Colleges Co-Curriculum program forms a central element of the education process at Riverview. The Director of Co-Curriculum alongside various stakeholders is responsible for ensuring efficient organisation and implementation of both the sporting and cultural co-curricular programs across both our Senior and Regis Campuses.
The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in either co-curricular academic or pastoral programs within a school environment with a demonstrated ability to influence a range of internal and external stakeholders. They will be someone who models ethical practices sound decision making supported by their excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills. The Director of Co-Curriculum will be able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams manage projects effectively and plan strategically for both short- and long-term will also cultivate an environment where students develop a sense of belonging a commitment to others and a desire to become responsible members of the community.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- An understanding of and commitment to the Colleges Catholic Jesuit mission.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a school co-curriculum pastoral or academic program.
- A commitment to ethical practice and decision-making for all adult and student participants in the co-curriculum program.
- Proven ability to lead and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
- Well-developed administrative and organisational skills including the ability to work to deadlines and the capability to plan for short-term and longer-term strategic outcomes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to mediate and resolve matters as they arise.
- An understanding of and willingness to work flexible hours as required by the nature of the role and its Executive commitment.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Hold a current Working with Children CheckCheck (or be prepared to obtain one prior to commencement) and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety welfare and well-being of children and young people.
