About the role
Whats in it for you
You will be a member of a team using state of the art tools and technologies to design develop and deliver a performant scalable system that processes customer addition to design and development of the core system you will also participate in the development of all related automated test infrastructure and CI/CD integration. Your contributions to this effort will be used by Fortune and Global 500 enterprise customers on a daily basis.
What you will be doing
- Setting and driving the overall architectural design and strategic technical directions for the CFW team
- Designing Architecting and Developing high performance scalable cloud based security systems and services.
- Building highly scalable low latency and high throughput services for the Netskope cloud.
- Coordinating with other service development teams product management and support teams to ensure scalability supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services.
- Working with Product Management to understand customer requirements and translating the same to engineering requirements and design. Understanding requirement specs researching appropriate solutions and designing/implementing high-quality features that ensure reliability sustainability scalability and observability.
- Working with QA to help them better test our product.
Required skills and experience
- 18 years of experience building high-performance networking security software in a distributed L3-L7 environment
- Programming mastery in C/C Solid understanding of data structures with Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of Networking concepts - TCP/IP SSL/TLS etc
- Good working knowledge of Firewalls IPS/IDS etc
- Experience with traffic analysis tools like Tcpdump/Wireshark.
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks - C gtest pytest
- Willingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zones
- Self-starter with desire to work in a fast paced environment with cross-timezone teams.
- Candidate should have an attitude of go and get it done and should exhibit it in day-2-day work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bonus points for experience with Ansible Kubernetes SQL and NoSQL datastores CI/CD Jenkins
Education
- BSCS or equivalent required MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred

Compensation:
At Netskope salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws the range applies to candidates in California Colorado Illinois Maryland New York Washington and other states.
The successful candidates starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications location and market conditions.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.
In addition to salary candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program. Candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive health plan and other benefits that can be reviewed atNetskope Benefits site.
