Job Summary

TheCMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the organizations maintenance management software platform. This role serves as the administrator and subject matter expert for the CMMS ensuring data integrity system functionality and effective utilization to support maintenance operations and asset management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serves as the administrator for the CMMS platform (such as SAP Maximo or similar systems).
Configure and maintain the CMMS database including equipment records PM schedules and work order flows.
Implement system updates enhancements and customizations to meet organizational needs.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with CMMS company support.
Manage user access permissions and security protocols.
Ensure data integrity accuracy and completeness within the CMMS.
Develop and generate standard and custom reports to track maintenance KPIs and metrics.
Create dashboards and visual representations of maintenance performance.
Maintain equipment hierarchy and asset information.
Provide training and support to end users on CMMS functionality and best practices.
Develop and maintain system documentation SOPs and user guides.
Serve as the liaison between maintenance teams and CMMS company.
Promote adoption and proper utilization of the CMMS across the organization.
Identify and implement process improvements related to CMMS utilization.
Stay current with CMMS technology advancements and industry best practices.

Required Experience & Education

5 years of experience in maintenance planning or related roles in oil and gas or similar industrial environments is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent data management and organizational skills
Effective communication and training capabilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel

Preferred

Proficiency with CMMS platforms like (SAP PM Maximo eMaint Fiix Maintain X etc.)
Experience in maintenance operations preferably in industrial environments.
