| Job Description: | The UF Health CancerInstituteis the 72nd NCIdesignatedcancer center and the onlyone at a public university in the State of Florida. As a matrix cancer center we span all 16 colleges of the University of Florida pulling together a world-class multi-disciplinary membership of over 350 faculty and 150 staff to address the challenges of the cancer burden faced by the population we serve as we work together to find a cure. As aClinical Trials Screening Navigatorat the UF Health CancerInstitute(UFHCI) you willbe responsible fortheidentification and recruitment of potential clinical trial participants across the CancerInstitutesexpansiveinterventional trial portfolio. In your new role you willbe responsible forthe following: - Developing and managing eligibility queries toidentifypotential participants for interventional oncology trials.
- Reviewing study protocols inclusion/exclusion criteria and medical data to supportaccurateand compliant participant identification.
- Collaborating with investigators research staff and institutional partners to enhance recruitment and feasibility strategies.
- Supporting feasibility evaluations fornew studiesand contributing to the development of recruitment resources.
- Curating and reporting screening metrics and outcomes to leadership and other stakeholders.
This is asenior-level position ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare research coordination or patient navigation who are interested in contributing to the success of cancer clinical trials. RN licensure or other similar credentials are desirable but not in these rolesoperateas part of our collaborative research enterprise and are fundamental to the progress of cancer research being conducted at the University of Florida.A complete job description will be provided to candidates selected for interview. |

| Preferred: | Knowledge/Experience: - Six to eight years of relevant experience and/or training in clinical research and/or oncology.
- Experience in oncology clinical research clinical navigation or patient care.
- Research certification (e.g. CCRP throughSoCRAor CCRC through ACRP).
- Experience creating andmaintainingdatabases and usingOnCoreor similar Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS).
- Familiarity with UF Health or large academic healthcare systems.
- Understanding ofclinical trial operations regulatory requirements and patient safety considerations.
- Experience reviewing or interpreting medical records and data.
- Strong attention to detail organization and follow-through.
- Highly resourceful proactive and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with varied teams.
- Demonstrated use of Emotional Intelligence to build rapport resolve challenges and communicate effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to supporting patient-centered compliant and efficient research operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word and SharePoint).
- Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with varied audiences including investigators physicians sponsors andUFHCIstaff.
- Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders through multiple communication mediums.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to recommend data-driven solutions.
- Project management mindset with skills in delegation scheduling communication quality management and risk mitigation.
