Job Summary

The Ministry & Media Center Coordinator (MMCC) supports the daily operations of Hope Media Groups headquarters and serves as the ambassador of first impressions for all who visit or call. This role ensures a welcoming hospitable and efficient environment for guests team members ministry partners and the public. The MMCC oversees front desk operations office administration visitor logistics and supports Community Engagement initiatives. This position requires strong interpersonal skills attention to detail a proactive approach and a heart for ministry.


Essential Functions

Team Member & Guest Relations:

  • Lead and participate in front desk operations ensuring every guest and caller experiences Hope Media Groups warmth and professionalism.
  • Supervise and coach the Front Desk Receptionist providing ongoing guidance and coverage as needed.
  • Perform and model excellent reception communication and hospitality standards.
  • Develop and maintain procedures that ensure efficiency and consistency in all guest interactions.

Office Administration & Logistics:

  • Manage and perform daily administrative operations including mail shipping and office supply coordination.
  • Oversee vendor relationships while personally executing key logistical and facility support tasks.
  • Monitor office systems and implement improvements that enhance efficiency.
  • Support budget stewardship through thoughtful purchasing and vendor management.

Event & Ministry Support:

  • Partner with Community Engagement leadership to plan and deliver ministry events and staff gatherings.
  • Coordinate and participate in logistics preparation and set-up.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for cross-departmental activities hosted at the Ministry & Media Center.

Demonstrated Faith:

  • Committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be spiritually grounded and Biblically literate.
  • Comfortable praying for co-workers in team meetings leading spoken prayer and participating in ministry prayer meetings and Bible studies.
  • Lives by the Christian principles defined by the Ministry Statement of Faith.
  • Participates in on-air fundraisers and prays for donors as needed.
  • Has a passion for leveraging the platform of radio for evangelism and discipleship.
  • Exhibits a strong moral character.
  • Is an active member of a Bible believing local church.

Requirements

Education:

  • Associates degree in Business Communications or related degree preferred OR equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 2 years in an entry-level administrative front office or guest relations role.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated alignment with Hope Media Groups mission and core virtues.
  • Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with grace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Calm under pressure and skilled in conflict de-escalation and problem-solving.
  • Able to handle confidential information with extreme discretion.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic mission-driven environment.
  • Heart for ministry and alignment with Christian values and mission of Hope Media Group.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None.

Working Conditions and Environment

Travel:

  • Moderate mostly within the Houston Metro Area.


Nights/Weekends/Holidays:

  • Full-time primarily Monday through Friday may include occasional evenings or weekends to support events or special needs.
