What awaits you/ Job Profile

• Define and own the backend process automation architecture blueprint for BMW enterprise IT organization.
• Align automation initiatives with business goals ensuring scalability security and cost efficiency.
• Lead architecture governance ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
• Architect and steer deployment of all automation components on AWS Cloud Platform.
• Lead the design of backend automation frameworks integrating Information Systems (IS) APIs and connectors.
• Steer implementation of backend process automation using N8N.
• Establish reusable automation patterns and frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption.
• Champion Business Process Management tools for process discovery modelling and optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate process models into executable workflows.
• Define API standards governance and lifecycle management.
• Architect secure high-performance integrations between enterprise systems and automation platforms.
• Design deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure solutions that are secure scalable and highly available.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and architect cloud-based solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement best practices for cost optimization security performance and reliability in AWS environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning configuration and monitoring of cloud resources.
• Perform regular system maintenance backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Evaluate new AWS services and provide recommendations on their applicability to the organizations needs.
• Document architecture designs procedures and policies related to AWS infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the AWS infrastructure as needed.

What should you bring along

• 10-15 years of experience in the software industry.
• 7 years of relevant experience in cloud platforms and architecture.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role with a focus on AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS VPC WAF Secrets Manager Amazon EventBridge DynamoDB Lambda Cloud Watch ECR EKS IAM etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Java Python Bash PowerShell etc.) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
• Extensive knowledge across the entire SDLC.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow tool for ITSM (IT Service Management)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Must have technical skill
