Job Summary
A VetTech Mechanical Intern provides routine technical support for assigned area; typically an experiment or support group. Depending on the assigned area fabricates sets up calibrates operates tests repairs and/or modifies a variety of mechanical equipment systems and devices or performs ESH duties including environmental surveys waste disposal and radiological surveys. Tasks are accomplished under direct supervision of a Fermilab employee and in cooperation with project teams scientists engineers and support personnel and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
