Position Overview
Gregory Construction is seeking a skilled Project Controls Scheduler to join our team in Huntsville Alabama. This position is responsible for developing monitoring and maintaining project schedules for multiple construction projects to ensure work is completed on time within budget and in alignment with company standards.
This is an on-site position located in our Huntsville Alabama office. A hybrid arrangement may be considered for candidates who reside outside the area based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop update and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.
Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and superintendents to establish realistic and achievable schedules.
Track and analyze project progress identifying critical paths risks and potential delays.
Prepare and present schedule updates reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
Support project controls functions including cost tracking resource loading and earned value analysis.
Ensure compliance with company and client scheduling standards and reporting requirements.
Assist in planning meetings and provide input for continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 35 years of experience in project scheduling preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing critical path methodology and project controls.
Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
