Clinical Role: Pathologist
- Full time permanent position
- Rotating Call approximately 1:4
- Join a team of 3 full-time Pathologists
- General surgical pathology sign-out with a role in oversight of the clinical laboratories
- Clinical laboratory tests including surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens
- Volume is approximately 13000 surgical specimens per year
- Approximately 5000 gynecologic cytology specimens and 1000 non-gynecologic specimens per year with occasional rapid on-site evaluation
- Involved in clinical consults which primarily include evaluation of peripheral blood smears and blood bank serology
- Involved in general surgical and breast cancer conferences
- No autopsies are performed at this hospital.
