Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bell Captain to join our prestigious hotel in Doha Qatar. As the leader of our bell staff you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

  • Oversee and coordinate the bell staff team providing leadership training and motivation
  • Greet guests upon arrival offering a warm welcome and assistance with luggage and transportation
  • Manage the efficient handling of guest luggage including storage and delivery to rooms
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services and resolve any issues promptly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and entrance areas
  • Supervise the upkeep and maintenance of hotel vehicles used for guest transportation
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities local attractions and transportation options
  • Implement and maintain high standards of customer service among the bell staff team
  • Monitor and manage bell staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts
  • Handle special requests and VIP arrivals with utmost professionalism and attention to detail
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to maintain service excellence

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Proven leadership skills with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g. Opera)
  • First aid certification (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of Doha and its attractions
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods walk frequently and assist with luggage
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
