Summary: The Dispatcher is primarily responsible for coordinating moves and the daily moving team operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

MUST have strong customer service skills (always respectful understanding and courteous).
Communicates with moving teams (drivers foremen helpers etc.). Helps resolve any challenges and provides support as needed.
Follows up on moving teams and maintains progress reports.
Coordinates and schedules moving teams to maximize available workforce against open jobs.
Prepares all necessary documents (bills of lading contracts) daily for moving jobs.
Monitors moving jobs for efficiency ensuring jobs are being conducted within appropriate time frames and move restrictions.
Properly documents incidents such as motor vehicle accidents or safety-related matters in accordance with company policy.
Works closely with other departments to report and resolve issues.
Optimizes workforce based on employees skills availability and preferences while always respecting the company rules and enforcing all necessary policies and agreements.
Any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service communication and project management experience.
Required: Ability to work effectively in a high volume fast paced and time-critical environment.
Good at resolving problems and switching gears to accomplish jobs.
Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and experience working in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
Must be a team player flexible with changing schedules and ability to work at least a 40-hour schedule with frequent need for longer hours including Saturdays.
Self-starter who gets things done with minimal direction.
Strong computer system analytical and mathematical skills.
At least 2 years experience in a similar position
Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
Prior experience in the moving industry (preferred)

Pay: $65000-$70000
