Role summary Year 4 Teacher
The Year 4 Teacher will design coherent sequences in maths and English as the Year 4 Teacher lead vocabulary development across foundation subjects as the Year 4 Teacher and coordinate project-based learning as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare moderation evidence and share progress with parents. This Year 4 Teacher role requires energy creativity and strong subject knowledge.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements:
QTS/PGCE and proven KS2 experience as the Year 4 Teacher.
Evidence of impact and good classroom management as the Year 4 Teacher.
Commitment to collaborative planning and CPD as the Year 4 Teacher.
Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as the Year 4 Teacher.
Use assessment to personalise learning as the Year 4 Teacher.
Lead extracurricular activities and contribute to school life as the Year 4 Teacher.
Prepare resources and attend induction in January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026.
