The Site Manager will be involved in site operations security and health & safety. The appointed Site Manager will meet the leadership team for pre-start briefings before January 2026 will join formal induction in January 2026 and will take responsibility for the site from January 2026.
A day with the Site Manager
Mornings: the Site Manager conducts a full site inspection unlocks buildings and completes safety checks as the Site Manager. Midday: the Site Manager supervises contractors troubleshoots issues and supports lettings as the Site Manager. Afternoons: the Site Manager completes records orders supplies and prepares the site for after-school activities as the Site Manager. Throughout the term the Site Manager will attend training sessions arranged for January 2026 and beyond.
Site Manager Responsibilities
Undertake daily site checks security and routine maintenance as the Site Manager.
Manage contractor appointments ensure permits and risk assessments are in place as the Site Manager.
Maintain logs for fire legionella and health & safety checks as the Site Manager. The Site Manager will also respond to site emergencies and support safeguarding procedures from January 2026.
Site Manager Requirements
Experience in site or facilities management; practical DIY skills and H&S awareness expected for the Site Manager.
Good communication skills to liaise with school staff cleaners and external suppliers as the Site Manager.
Willingness to undertake pre-start meetings before January 2026 induction in January 2026 and a start on January 2026.
