MS/Tele FLOAT RN (Night Shift)
- Location: Watertown NY 13601
- Duration: 13 week
- Shift: 12-hr Night 7:00 PM -7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2088 - $2268; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MS/Tele FLOAT RN to provide exceptional patient care on a temporary travel assignment. The RN will function across various units as needed ensuring safe high-quality care for all patients while working night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care based on nursing principles including clinical teaching mental and spiritual needs.
- Administer required drips and medications such as Heparin Magnesium and K-riders.
- Recognize and address safety concerns for self patients and staff; properly use patient lifts.
- Function effectively in high-stress situations demonstrating creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities including prioritization delegation and the potential to assume charge nurse duties.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team maintaining excellent communication and documentation standards.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and compliance standards.
Required Requirements:
- Current RN license in New York State.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 successful traveler assignment (first-time travelers not considered).
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience with Meditech required.
- Strong organizational interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide leadership and assume charge nurse responsibilities when required.
