Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Scan Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures ensure patient safety and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare patients for CT scans explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Position patients correctly and ensure the proper operation of CT equipment.
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety infection control and quality assurance guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating CT equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification (or must obtain within a specified time)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Must hold a current and valid Florida state license as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT or General Radiographer License).
- Minimum 1-2 Year of experience.
