Job Summary:

Under the general direction of a more experienced team member responsible forcontributing tothe creationexecutionautomation and maintenanceof teststo support the validation offunctionalityin an agile environment. Utilizes company approved toolstoindependentlydevelop andmaintainautomated test scripts anddevelops SQL scripts to extract data from the database to execute test cases.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Buildmaintainand evolve test automationscripts under thedirection of more experienced team membersusingPlaywrightandTypeScript or other enterprise-approved tools to supportAPI and UI testing.

Collaborate withother SDETsand other scrum teammembersto understand requirementsand system impact of requested changesacross multipleapplicationsandcanexplain to team members.

Createclearandmaintainable testcases.

Developcodeusing modern languages and tools while adhering to coding standards.

Develop andmaintainautomated API tests (REST/SOAP)andvalidatefunctionalrequirements.

Support feature teams with manual testing effortswhen needed including test case design exploratory testing and validation of workflows that are not yet automated.

Identify document and track bugs and issues through resolution with theassistanceof more experienced team members.

Participate intest case and codereviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Write andmaintainSQL queriestomine data to beutilizedin testing efforts.

Offerinputon the testability of functional elements and product designs.

Develop an awareness of bestpractices in testing code quality and software development.

Ensure traceability between requirements tests and defects and support compliance with enterprise policies (e.g. HIPAA security audit readiness).

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge ofat least one programming language ( JavaScript Java).

Exposure totest automation tools and frameworks.

Basicunderstanding of software QA methodologies tools and processes.

Knowledge orAgile/Scrum development environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
