Job Title: SQL DBA

Summary

We are seeking is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) for a short-term contract to support ongoing data and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills experience managing and querying large data sets and must be fluent in Mandarin to collaborate with global team members.

Responsibilities:

Write troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and scripts.
Read and interpret existing queries for analysis and reporting.
Support data management and integration tasks.
Collaborate with business and technical teams (including Mandarin-speaking teams) to ensure data accuracy and availability.
Assist with reporting and dashboarding using Power BI.

Required Skills:

Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written).
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
Proficiency with SQL scripting and query tuning.
Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure OneLake and Microsoft Fabric (can be trained on this if they dont have it).

Work Site: Houston TX or Toronto ON (onsite in either city and will need to travel 1-2 times to either Houston or Canada and client will cover expenses)

Duration: 3 4 months

Expected Start Date: Immediate
