Japanese Translator

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/NCR

Exp: 3Yrs

Required Skills and Qualifications

Language Proficiency:

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N2 or N1

Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Experience:

Experience as a Japanese Translator / Interpreter in an IT or Telecom environment.

Experience working with cross-cultural and multi-location teams (India Japan coordination preferred).

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of Telecom fundamentals (4G/5G Core) and basic IT concepts (software development lifecycle network systems testing).

Ability to interpret technical content accurately and confidently in discussions with engineers and managers.

Tools: Familiarity with MS Office translation tools (Trados MemoQ etc.) and collaboration platforms (Teams Zoom Jira Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Telecom software or network projects involving Japanese clients.

Basic knowledge of project management and documentation standards.
