Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced Application Developer (Java) with 5 7 years of hands-on development experience to join our Online Banking team in Newark Delaware how is ready to contribute to a high-performing security-focused team in the financial services sector. This team is responsible for critical components such as user authentication fraud detection and transaction processing.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite per week. The position offers the potential for full-time conversion based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices.
Ensure applications meet high standards for security performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance online banking services.
Participate in agile ceremonies code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

5-7 years of professional software development experience.
Proven experience in large-scale industry-grade applications preferably in the financial sector.
Proficiency in:
- Java (Full Stack)
- Spring Boot
- Microservices architecture
Strong understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
Database experience is flexible no specific experience required
Prior experience within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
