Job Description
The web developer is responsible for maintaining the web application throughout the contract period. Key duties include troubleshooting and resolving defects ensuring application availability and performance implementing security updates and supporting feature updates as needed. The role also involves monitoring system functionality performing routine code and content updates collaborating with stakeholders to address technical requirements and ensuring compliance with state technology standards and best practices. The developer helps ensure that the application remains reliable secure and user friendly for all users. Project is temporary in nature as the agency executes a new contract for a longer-term vendor.
Project Duties:
Diagnose and resolve issues in custom Drupal modules and application code.
Manage Acquia code repository branches and merging master and trigger deployment pipelines.
Work with Drupal Core for updates patches and compatibility checks.
Monitor web application performance.
Troubleshooting import and export data issues.
Unpublishing and republishing nodes.
Backing up databases and performing rollback procedures.
Modify compile and troubleshoot CSS and JavaScript for front-end enhancements and bug fixes.
Investigate and resolve issues related to CSV uploads and syncing JSON field values to node-based structures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of ad hoc requests.
