Position: Technical Support Tech I (Additive Manufacturing Technician)
Location: Seattle WA 98109
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
- About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our advanced manufacturing team. This is a hands-on manufacturing support role in an industrial 3d printing facility.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly or related technical environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing equipment and processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor assembly line operations
- Perform component cleaning and media-blasting using glove box equipment
- Maintain manufacturing and warehouse equipment
- Document and track equipment status and maintenance needs
- Conduct regular facility maintenance including vacuuming waste management and recycling
- Support various manufacturing operations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of basic manufacturing concepts and procedures
- Familiarity with assembly line operations
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Safety protocol compliance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for operating equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility setting
- Monday-Friday schedule
- May require occasional overtime
Reports to:
- Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager
- The role is defined as 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing production Technician.
- Their role is to interface 3D printers and machine observe safety training and safety procedure offload the prints cross processing of those and manual hard work of it.
Skills-based.
- HM finds hard to hire from the past with similar roles so they would leverage with manufacturing background had worked in shop environment or Food industry like moving things quickly using tools and/or body work.
- Tools like hand scraper de-burning tools larger equipment like Sand Blusters media blusters tumbler working on the 3D printer and some lifting and operating jacks
Day to Day:
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm PST Onsite
- May work overtime depends on business needs (5-8 hrs weekly)
- Meeting every morning clean up their stations doing service work computer literacy and training communicate to the team at all times.
Interaction with HM and Team:
- Need to interact with Manufacturing department subtractive and machining area.
- They interface for machining area safety quality and shipping to ensure safety protocols.
Leadership Principles:
- Customer obsession invent and simplify and deliver results.
Years of Experience/Degrees:
- Have minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly or related technical environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Degree is not totally required
Best vs Average:
