As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of matching skilled medical professionals with healthcare facilities in need of temporary staffing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients through medical imaging.
- Interpret radiological images and communicate findings to healthcare teams.
- Provide expert advice and support to medical staff regarding radiology procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all imaging practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Participate in continuous education and training opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of radiology protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting.
- Strong understanding of imaging modalities and techniques.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current medical license to practice in the relevant state.
Opportunity Details:
- Flexible Schedule: 8-hour weekday and weekend shifts available (day night and swing)
- Case Volume: 56 RVUs per shift
- General DX Cases: CT CTA PET CT MRI MRA US NM X-ray arterial/doppler
- Dictation: Dragon Medical One
- Must be ABR board-certified
