Mount Prospect Academys community-based offices provide intensive services to at risk youth and their families in the the service model the MPA team is able to work closely with families in their own environment creating the best possibility for lasting MPA team is skilled in providing trauma-sensitive treatment and maintains a trauma-informed approach within all operations.

Job Description
The role of the Permanency Specialist (PS) is to assist clients in strengthening and establishing lifelong connections that will facilitate success throughout their lives. The PS establishes clear treatment goals and clinically appropriate recommendations for treatment and interventions. Working as a team to ensure interactions are goal oriented and clinically apocopate. The PS will perform some or all of the following services: provide clinical support for individuals and their families to overcome obstacles identify strengths and develop support networks that will help them overcome barriers; provide education and guidance to assist in developing structure routines effective parenting skills and positive communication. We are looking for a champion in the Keene area! Someone that can work independently build rapport with referral sources and grow the area.

  • Pay range is $48000-$60000 (depends on degree license eligibility current state license etc).
  • Weekly one-hour clinical supervision; licensure supervision is available for qualifying clinicians

Requirements
  1. Masters Degree in social work clinical mental health counseling etc.
    1. License eligible preferred
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in human services or a related field including direct experience working with children and families
  3. Knowledge of the Juvenile Justice System valued
  4. Valid drivers license with insured transportation
  5. Position requires background and driving record check before starting.
