The Applications Manager - Corporate Systems is responsible for the strategic oversight management and support of the companys core corporate application portfolio with a primary focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Resources (HR) systems. This role ensures these critical systems are aligned with business needs perform optimally and are maintained to the highest standards of reliability and security. The manager will lead a team of
application specialists coordinate with business stakeholders and drive continuous improvement within the corporate systems environment.

This is a critical hands-on leadership role based at our modern Head Office on Collins Street which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony BBQ area collaborative and quiet spaces and plenty of natural light.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of corporate applications including planning implementation maintenance upgrades and decommissioning. This includes critical ERP and HR systems.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead mentor and manage a team of systems analysts and administrators. Foster a collaborative environment and promote professional growth.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between IT and business units (e.g. Finance HR Operations) to gather requirements prioritize initiatives and ensure application functionality meets business needs.
• System Administration & Support: Oversee the administration configuration and daily support of corporate systems ensuring high availability and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Manage relationships with application vendors and service providers overseeing contracts service level agreements (SLAs) and ongoing performance.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the long-term roadmap for corporate applications including recommendations for new technologies system upgrades and process improvements.
• Budget & Cost Management: Monitor and manage the budget for corporate applications identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring optimal return on investment.

About You:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in IT with a strong background in corporate applications specifically ERP and/or HR systems with 5 years of experience in a leadership role reporting direct to GM level.
• Proven knowledge of application support and management best practices.
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP system (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and/or a major HRIS platform (e.g. Workday SuccessFactors Oracle Cloud HCM).
• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving analytical and organizational abilities.
• Experience with cloud-based corporate applications.
• Knowledge of process automation and business intelligence tools.
• Experience managing a distributed team
