Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate and manage relationships across operations with clients stakeholders university officials and students to develop and implement sustainability centered solutions
Develop and refine employee sustainability training materials to increase engagementacross operations
Track a variety of sustainability data points to monitor progress and identify opportunities
Compile data to share on monthly quarterly and annual basis with different stakeholders in various presentation formats(including but not limitedto an annual campuswide sustainability report monthly MWBE/local vendor purchasing reports AASHE STARS)
Lead waste audits to assess waste diversion rates
Participate and project manage long and short-term program development and planning for the waste & procurement sections of the campus strategic sustainability planto ensure timely completion of program deliverables
Plan develop and implement student engagement events to build awareness of sustainability across food service on campus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in a field related to Sustainability or Environmental Science with a minimum of 2 years experience working in sustainability energy management or waste minimization and/or recycling
Sustainable Resource Management Professional or GRI/Leeds/True Zero Waste certification status may offset formal education
A strong understanding of sustainability practices
Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups on complex issues
Track record of program management
