Could you be the full-time Traction Validation Engineer (TrVE) in LOCATION were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your traction system expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
Youll play a key role in leading Certification and Validation activities for the traction level during project execution ensuring quality cost and delivery (QCD) objectives are met. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business including Traction System Engineers Project Core teams and Certification and Validation managers/engineers. You will also interface with external stakeholders such as suppliers test labs customers and authorities and much more.
Youll specifically take care of managing traction-level validation activities including creating and maintaining the Validation Plan as well as reviewing and approving test procedures and reports but also optimizing validation schedules and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Implementing standard processes and methodologies for efficient Certification and Validation
Collaborating with the Traction Validation Skill Leader to develop and manage the Traction Validation Plan
Ensuring the timely delivery of validation proofs including test bench achievements and validation files
Providing structured feedback to support costing activities and enhance technical repositories
Managing the Certification and Validation project team

Degree in a relevant engineering field
10yrs overall Experience in team and project management (1 to 3 years depending on team size multi-disciplinary or multi-site projects)
Knowledge of traction systems (e.g. system analysis railways) with at least 2 years of experience
Understanding of standards and regulations
Familiarity with planning tools and test organization
Work Package Management knowledge
Required electrical habilitation level (e.g. B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR - BC or H2V - H2V Essais - HE Essais HC)
