About the opportunity

As a Technical Senior Business Analyst youll play a critical role in shaping and delivering digital and technology projects that support WorkSafes long-term strategy. Youll partner with a broad range of stakeholdersacross business architecture and deliveryto translate complex business needs into practical value-driven solutions.

Working within a mature Business Analysis practice youll bring both generalist and specialist expertise to support initiatives from initial concept through to implementation and benefit realisation.

Some key responsibilities include:

Leading the analysis and definition of business needs translating them into actionable requirements and deliverables.
Collaborate closely with Solution Architects developers SMEs and vendors to ensure technical solutions are fit-for-purpose.
Provide subject matter expertise across areas such as cyber security data integration AI strategy or platform architecture.
Facilitate the evaluation of solution options support cost and benefit analysis and contribute to business cases.
Ensure alignment of project outcomes with strategic goals and business value.
Contribute to WorkSafes Business Analysis Community of Practice fostering continuous learning and innovation.

About you

Were looking for an autonomous self-starter with strong technology skills and a track record of delivering outcomes in complex environments. Youll be confident navigating ambiguity highly collaborative and proactive in driving progress.

To help achieve our Strategic Outcomes we are seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following domains:

Salesforce
MuleSoft
Data Migration and Data Warehousing
Cyber and Information Security
System Integration and Decommissioning

Knowledge of key WorkSafe technology landscape and systems such as ACCtion Novus or Oracle Financials will be highly desirable.

You will also have:

Proven experience in complex technical business analysis across agile and/or waterfall environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working closely with solution architects developers and third-party vendors.
Advanced proficiency with tools such as Jira Confluence Miro Visio BPMN and MS Office (including Copilot).
Knowledge of business analysis frameworks and governing bodies (e.g. BABOK IIBA).
Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (e.g. CBAP TOGAF SAFe CDMP CISSP).
