The Casement Assistant Supervisor supports the Production Supervisor in managing daily operations and leading the department to achieve production quality and safety goals. This role ensures continuity of leadership during the Supervisors absence and contributes to team development problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
*This position will train DAYS Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm for an extended amount of time before transitioning into an evening shift.
Coach and train team members on processes safety standards and best practices.
Provide input on performance reviews and corrective actions.
Support onboarding and cross-training to build workforce flexibility.
Foster a positive inclusive culture that promotes engagement and teamwork.
Communicate operational updates to team members and Supervisor.
Monitor daily shift activities and adjust labor allocation to meet production goals.
Track attendance and address minor attendance issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; report concerns andassistin investigations.
Maintainaccuratedocumentation and reporting for shift activities.
Identifyand help resolve quality and productivity issues through root cause analysis.
Collaborate with support departments to remove barriers and achieve goals.
12 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Prior leadership or team lead experience
Safety and quality systems training (e.g. OSHA basics Lean principles)
Leadership development or coaching skills
To perform this job successfully an individual should have ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
Must have a strong ability tomulti taskand prioritize daily responsibilities
