Job Summary

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Digital Support Consultant to join us in a permanentfull-time role. Based at our Springfield campus these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. As Maters first new public hospital in over 60 years this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds ICU maternity emergency and surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.

Salary range: $39.79 $44.25 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

As a Digital Support Consultant you will be the first point of contact for Mater staff requiring assistance with digital technologies. You will provide expert support resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems while ensuring a seamless experience for all end users.

  • Assist Mater staff with IT faults across software hardware network telephony and audio-visual equipment
  • Resolve routine and known digital requests and ensure clear documentation of actions taken
  • Escalate complex issues to Digital Support Specialists or senior team members as required
  • Perform IT equipment installations upgrades and maintenance according to approved guidelines
  • Provide network telephony and mobile device support for routine requests
  • Assist with asset management administration and maintain accurate service records
  • Support end users via phone in person or messaging platforms including after-hours support on a rotating on-call roster
  • Contribute to system upgrades and change implementation projects

About you

You are a client-focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting providing support and improving end-user experiences. You communicate clearly work collaboratively and have a strong technical foundation across IT and AV systems.

  • Certificate II or III in Information Technology or equivalent work experience is highly regarded
  • Strong interest in Digital technology hardware and systems with a desire to learn and develop knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems Active Directory networking and computer/AV hardware
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification (desirable)
