JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Director of Finance Operations will oversee several key services within the Entergy Shared Services (ESS) organization within Technology and Business Services (TBS). He/she will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and providing governance and oversight over four key business processes: Accounts Payable Financial Operation Programs (Travel Expense Credit Cards and Supplemental Labor) Payroll Cash Operations and Shareholder Services. He/she will be responsible for the delivery of these critical services to the business and for the related financial/operational controls compliance and system policy governance. He/she will establish service levels set targets aligned with best-in-class performance drive automation and continuous improvement and will manage and develop Finance Operations people and capabilities. He/she will serve as the liaison between several related departments including Supply Chain Accounting Tax Treasury Internal and External Audit Human Resources Information Technology and Finance Business Partners.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience. Certified Public Accountant and/or advanced degree desirable.
Minimum experience required of the position
10 years 6 years in a management position
Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position
Any certificates licenses etc. required for the position
Certified Public Accountant desirable.
