What Youll Do

  • This is a hands-on role with a large percentage of time on end-user support and help desk activities. The remaining time dedicated to systems administration maintenance and process improvement.
  • Manage configure and maintain servers networks and IT systems to ensure uptime performance and security.
  • Lead and mentor onsite support staff - coordinating schedules training and performance feedback.
  • Deliver outstanding end user support resolving hardware software and connectivity issues with a customer-first approach.
  • Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Administer user accounts access and permissions in alignment with security policies.
  • Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to drive technology initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Keep documentation up to date for systems configurations and support procedures.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend upgrades that strengthen operations.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
  • Strong background in Windows Server networking and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience supporting Linux environments (a plus!).
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise coach and develop technical support staff.
  • Strong troubleshooting multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator CompTIA Network or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
