The Clinic Medical Assistant Apprentice is a KVH employee that is enrolled in a certified Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. The Apprenticeship program is intended to last one-year with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site under the guidance of a preceptor. It is an expectation that the Medical Assistant Apprentice will complete the program and take the Department of Health Certified Medical Assistant test and become licensed by the State of Washington.
Qualifications :
What is required...
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Will need PRIOR to the program starting; Resources are available from KVH
- Current CPR card for Healthcare Providers
Or
- Current MA-R license from the Washington State Department of Health
Or
- Current NAC license from the Washington State Department of Health
Additional Information :
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $19.57/hour and goes up to $29.67/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 40 hours/week
Benefits: This position is benefits eligible
