Job Summary
Job Description
- Prepare food for a high-volume hotel kitchen which includes banquet and conference facilities full service restaurant and lounge room service and government emergency services contracts.
- Primarily responsibility for food preparation and line service
- Reports to Executive Chef Sous Chef.
- Full time
How Youll Make an Impact:
- Supporting the Chef to deliver on defined day to day activities for our client contract regarding all Food Service Delivery in a Hotel kitchen.
- You will use your skills to assist in creating an excellent food service offering for the clients and guests of this site
- General food production cooking serving as well as other duties assigned
- Follow all the different Sodexo Programs: Food Safety Health and Safety policies and procedures as well as marketing.
Qualifications :
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role (high-volume banquet and catering experience is an asset).
- Red Seal is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working as part of a team
- Strong planning organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
- Ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
