Job Summary

Working closely with operations finance and customer service teams youll ensure our logistics support functions are aligned with business goals and that customers receive timely professional service every time.


What you will do in the role:

Operational Support & Coordination

  • Oversee logistics support across NZ Depots and Transport.
  • Lead Container Control and Planning teams to deliver operational efficiency.
  • Monitor container and transport performance resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate data and system integrity across transport management systems.
  • Prepare and present reports highlighting trends insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the adoption of system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures that boost productivity and safety.
  • Lead assigned Group projects.

Performance & Team Leadership

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support workforce planning and resource allocation to meet business demands.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce costs.

Strategic & Financial Support

  • Contribute to budgeting forecasting and cost-tracking activities.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and performance metrics to drive improvement.
  • Provide insights and data to support group-level decision-making.

Customer Focus

  • Lead a team that provides accurate professional and timely customer service.
  • Ensure customer queries and issues are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Represent Depot & Transport in group-level projects and meetings.

Health & Safety

  • Model a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE standards.
  • Identify and report any incidents hazards or near misses promptly.

Qualifications :

What you will bring to the table:

  • Extensive experience in logistics supply chain or transport operations management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on performance and accountability.
  • Excellent systems and reporting capability.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to health safety and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Auckland. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
