Undergraduate Placement Year 2026 – Engineering Electrified Systems Intern

Sitting within the Research & Development department this role is to support both the mechanical and electrical Engineer(s) in the Electrified Solutions team at Bosch Home Comfort UK Ltd. It is aimed at someone wanting to get an in-depth engineering experience

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Working within a project team to assist with various tasks such as drawings CAD 3D models ECR and BOMs to ensure the overall project goals are achieved.
• To support the development test team with test regimes of our future products.
• Update any reports on the design status on a regular basis.
• Using knowledge of both mechanical and electrical design to aid with topics ranging from drawing/modifying structures testing performance of future products to helping develop electrical harnesses across a variety of projects.
• Employ sound problem-solving and analysis to help identify issues as well as options for mitigation of issues.

Qualifications :

Please note that to be eligible for this role you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Working Hours:

• 39 hours per week standard working pattern of 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
