Job Summary

 

Summary of Responsibilities:  

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service 

Create a welcoming environment 

Knowledgeable of wine & cocktails offered 

Beverage inventory  

Bar set up tear down and preparation of garnishes and mixes 

Stool and Service Bartending 

Cash handling 

Provide responsible service of alcohol 

Assist guests with enquiries 

Review daily reports arrivals VIPs and groups in house  

Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications :

Qualifications:  
Minimum of 1 yearexperience requiredas a Bartender in a fast-paced high-end bar / luxury propertyand/or substantial Fairmont food & beverage experience (minimum of 6 months)in a high volume bartending capacity  
Ramp Certified and Mixology certification an asset  
Operational knowledge and proficiency in Point of Sale System  
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
Highly responsible & reliable 
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment while working cohesively as part of a team 
Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times 

 

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):  
Constant standing and walking throughout shift  
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs  
Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting 
Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps 
Ability to stand and be mobile for up to 8 hours 
Ability to move quickly and efficiently  

Visa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
