As a seasonal member of our Research Development and Innovation team you will learn how new crop varieties are developed in Western Canada and gain experience in agronomy and crop breeding as you assist with the field evaluation of experimental varieties and breeding materials. You will also gain practical experience working with farm machinery and driving a truck and trailer. Located in Edmonton AB and reporting to the local Agronomist and research technicians this role will assist in the establishment maintenance and harvest of canola wheat and barley research plots.
We have 2 seasonal opportunities available with one assignment scheduled from April 2026 - November 2026 and the second assignment scheduled from April 2026 - October 2026.
