We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team. at Carinya Lodge over the Christmas period from late November through to mid-February 2026.

Shifts will be rostered in advance so that you can take full advantage of your down time making the most of the beach the markets and the fantastic eateries available in this beautiful region.
Up to 76 hours per fortnight (minimum of 40 hours) are available and you must be prepared to work all shifts as required (AM PM and nights) and casual loadings will apply.
The role is covering leave over the holiday period so you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are an experienced and skilled RN who is able to work autonomously and hit the ground running. You will be able to demonstrate a passion for aged care and the delivery of high-quality person-centered care in a clinical setting
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing quality patient care in an aged care setting administering medications and collaborating with the Care Team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills be detail-oriented and have a passion providing high quality and person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient wellbeing and medical history
- Provide wound care and other daily care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and the broader Care Team to develop and implement care plans
- Communicate with resident families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records using electronic systems
- Respond to resident emergencies and incidents and provide appropriate care and reporting as needed
- Adhere to Aged Care Quality Standards regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting (Aged Care experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
