Job Summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinic-based Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago IL.

Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide therapy through our Merlin Day Academy a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ADHD sensory processing disorder and other neurodiverse needs. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative innovative environment designed to help children thrive.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Eyas Landing - Avondale you will provide physical therapy to children and families. Youll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ADHD sensory processing disorder and other neurodiverse needs. Youll foster each childs mobility gross motor development and functional independence growth through:

Providing individualized and group therapy
Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime Developmental Treatment Motor Skills Acquisition and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists as well as social workers
Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
