BAT Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an Territory Officer in Banda Aceh

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and ensure distributor operations comply with BAT standards policies and performance metrics.
  • Support distributor processes including PO validation promotion budget control and supervising field force performance.
  • Drive business growth in assigned territories by improving sales efficiency and implementing effective territory strategies.
  • Gather market insights and propose trade marketing programs to optimize area performance.
  • Achieve 100% of sales volume and SKU mix targets in line with monthly territory plans.
  • Conduct regular market visits to deploy POSM monitor competitors and ensure product visibility and availability.
  • Engage retailers and communities to activate programs capture feedback and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Manage and develop both BAT and distributor teams while maintaining accurate stock control through regular audits.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing or related field with strong interest in sales and distribution.
  • 12 years of experience in field sales trade marketing or distributor management (FMCG background preferred).
  • Strong leadership negotiation and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Good understanding of sales operations trade marketing and territory management.
  • Ability to analyze market insights and turn them into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with distributors and retailers.
  • High drive for results ownership and accountability to achieve sales targets.
  • Willing to be based in Banda Aceh and must possess a valid SIM A (driving license).
