Wataynikaneyap Power PM Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of FortisOntario Inc. acts as the Project Manager of Wataynikaneyap Power LP (Wataynikaneyap Power). Wataynikaneyap Power is a licensed transmission entity majority-owned by a partnership of 24 First Nation communities in partnership with Fortis Inc. and other private investors. The partnership is an unprecedented undertaking and has constructed 1800 kilometres of 230 kV 115 kV and 44 kV transmission lines and 22 substations in northwestern Ontario. IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
(Full-Time Permanent Position)
This position will report to the Corporate Supervisor Enterprise Infrastructure and Security. We are looking for an organized problem-solver with a positive attitude with the ability to prioritize and work well independently and within a team environment. The IT Systems Administrator will work from the Thunder Bay office under the general day-to-day direction of the Corporate Supervisor Enterprise Infrastructure and Security. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment and compliance with Company and regulatory processes hardware/software management providing technical solutions and much more! Incumbent must ensure all work assigned is performed efficiently while demonstrating a personal commitment to the safety of co-workers the public oneself and the environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary education in an Information Technology-related discipline such as Computer Science Computer Programming Business Information Systems or similar.
Experience with Cloud platforms considered an asset.
Experience with one or more ITSM platforms would be considered an asset.
Extremely motivated and self-directed with excellent interpersonal organization problem-solving and communication skills to work with our internal customers.
Up-to-date vendor certification(s) considered an asset.
Must have a valid Ontario G drivers license and maintain a clean drivers abstract
Travel will be required for job duties.
Candidates who speak/understand Anishinaabe or Anishininiimowin and/or have meaningful experience working with or for First Nation communities in Northwestern Ontario (preferred)
