About the Role:

In this role you will be at the forefront of our engagement strategy fostering relationships with our community stakeholders and the media.

Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a vibrant online and offline community that aligns with our brand values and mission. You will craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience enhancing our public image and strengthening community ties. This position requires a deep understanding of social media platforms public relations strategies and community building techniques.

What Youll do:

Community Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to engage with and grow our online and offline communities.
  • Build strong lasting relationships with community members across social media forums events and other channels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for community feedback addressing inquiries concerns and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and analyze community sentiment providing actionable insights and regular reports to management to guide improvements and identify emerging trends.
  • Manage online communities across platforms like Facebook Twitter LinkedIn and others.

Public Relations (PR)

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to improve the companys visibility and reputation.
  • Draft and distribute press releases media kits and other PR materials.
  • Build relationships with journalists influencers and media outlets to secure positive press coverage.
  • Coordinate and manage media appearances interviews and speaking opportunities for company leadership.
  • Organize PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and establish the company as a thought leader in its industry.
  • Work with the PR agency to monitor measure and analyze results tracking key metrics such as media reach engagement sentiment and share of voice to evaluate performance and guide future strategies.

What Youll bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in community management and public relations.
  • Proven track record of building online communities and successfully executing PR campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms online engagement techniques and content creation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages.
  • Experience with media relations including pitching stories and working with journalists.
  • Ability to analyze data and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and community engagement activities.
