About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) youll play a key role in providing high-quality personalized care to our residents. We are looking for compassionate caregivers who understand and respect the physical emotional and spiritual needs of the elderly.
Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting

Help residents safely navigate the community including escorting to meals activities and appointments
-
Support dining activities (cutting food serving feeding assistance as needed)

Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms beds and personal belongings
-
Take vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure weight) and perform S&As when requested
-
Assist with resident admissions and care documentation
-
Encourage participation in community events and accompany residents to recreational activities
-
Maintain accurate daily flow sheets and care notes
-
Foster meaningful 1-on-1 connections with residents by understanding their individual needs
-
Attend scheduled in-services and continue developing gerontology knowledge through readings and discussion
Requirements
-
Current or soon-to-be active California CNA certification
-
Knowledge of standard nursing practices and use of relevant patient care equipment and materials
-
Ability to pass a physical exam upon hire and annually thereafter
-
Compassionate and patient-centered care mindset
