AskOtago the Universitys Service Centre is the one-stop shop for all questions related to the University of Otago.
You will play a key part in this team assisting University students staff and visitors with their queries and questions regarding life and work at Otago.
The role Te mahi
We are recruiting enthusiastic and proactive people to join our team as Service these positions you will be part of a dynamic team committed to providing an excellent customer experience.
You will work across various channels to assist our customers; most enquiries are received via telephone or email in our University Service Centre. We also have AskOtago Hubs around campus for in-person enquiries. Using available information you will understand the customers situation and provide a tailored service to ensure first-contact resolution wherever appropriate.

Multiple permanent full-time (37.5 hour) positions exist within this team. All roles are located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.
The start date for this role is firmly Monday 5 January 2026. Please note that a later start date cannot be accommodated.
The appointment range for this role is $63508 to $68185. Top of Range $73640.
Customer service is integral to AskOtago; it is therefore important we are available to answer queries 6 days a week. AskOtago operating hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Staff work on a rostered basis. Hours of work will be discussed at interview stage.
