Andrology / Donor Programme Physician Danish Sperm Donor Bank

Location: Copenhagen Denmark (head office in USA)
Part-time / Occasional Hours or Locum

We are seeking an experienced Andrology / Donor Programme Physician to support our Danish sperm donor bank on an occasional basis. This role involves performing medical assessments for potential donors reviewing infectious and genetic screening results and ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct physical examinations of male sperm donors
Review medical histories and laboratory screening results
Approve donor eligibility in accordance with EU Tissues and Cells Directive local and international regulations
Provide medical oversight to ensure donor safety and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the lab and quality teams in Denmark and the USA as needed

Requirements:

Medical degree and full registration to practise (Denmark or UK/EU equivalent)
Experience in andrology reproductive medicine or occupational health preferred
Strong understanding of donor screening and tissue banking regulations
Attention to detail and commitment to clinical governance
Availability for occasional on-site sessions or remote review work
