PACT Charter School has an immediate opening for a one to one nurse.

Position Summary: PACTis seeking a compassionate reliable and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a secondarystudent during the school day. This is an essential support role that ensures the students health needs are met throughout the day allowing them to participate safely in their academic program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plan
• Monitor and respond to health needs including emergencies chronic condition management and mobility assistance
• Accompany student to classes lunch and other activities as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and health-related incidents
• Communicate regularly with school nurse teachers and student support staff
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines
• Attend IEP or 504 meetings as needed to support the students care plan

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Minnesota
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (pediatric preferred)
• Previous experience with pediatric school nursing or 1:1 care preferred
• Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while following a care plan
• Compassionate and student-centered approach

• Hours are 7:45am to 3:30pmon student contact days
• Wages will commensuate upon experience. Hourly range: $25.50-$35.50
