Job Summary
Applicants must possess Library Science K-12 certification and classroom instructional experience. The positions primary responsibility is to provide secondary instruction and administration of the circulation desk procedures and supervision of library collections. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting students and faculty access materials using an online catalogue and software system. This position will coordinate all library services with building principals. Additionally the position facilitates gifted services and provides enrichment opportunities for students.
Applicants must possess the ability to maintain a friendly cooperative and productive atmosphere for students faculty and parents. Applicants should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential to the position. Experience with computer applications a plus.
All mandated clearances physical and TB test results required prior to employment.
