Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join an ambulatory care team in a dynamic outpatient setting. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care assist physicians and provide clinical support in accordance with professional nursing standards. Candidates should have prior ambulatory urgent care or pediatric experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care within an ambulatory or outpatient clinic environment.

• Perform nursing assessments administer medications and assist with clinical procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Monitor and document patient progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and follow-up care.

• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in compliance with infection control protocols.

• Triage and respond to patient needs promptly and professionally.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Active RN License in the State of New York (unrestricted).

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent nursing experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care or ambulatory setting.

• BLS (AHA) certification required; ability to maintain certification during assignment.

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

• Ambulatory urgent care or pediatric experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must pass pre-employment health clearance background check and drug screening.

Additional Information

• Shift: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

• Duration: 14-week contract with potential for extension.

• Limited orientation provided; candidates must demonstrate strong clinical independence.
