Job Summary

Overview

Position Overview:
The Metro East Saturday Program Coordinator will provide independent leadership for the planning set-up daily operations and take-down of Saturday STEM programs. This position requires an individual who is reliable organized and able to work with minimal supervision to ensure smooth program delivery across multiple sites.

Work Schedule:

  • Saturdays during program sessions typically in the morning to early afternoon. This position is for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Independently manage program set-up and take-down including transportation of supplies between sites.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations and proactively resolve logistical issues to ensure a safe efficient learning environment.
  • Support instructional staff by preparing materials organizing classrooms and assisting with student activities as needed.
  • Coordinate and provide direction to volunteers or assistants to support program logistics and student engagement.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for staff students and families providing information and responding to immediate needs.
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are properly inventoried maintained and transported between program sites.
  • Communicate progress needs or challenges promptly to the Innovation Hub Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have own reliable transportation to and between program sites.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience coordinating youth programs camps or educational activities preferred.
  • Ability to lift and transport program supplies and materials as needed.
  • Dependable proactive and adaptable to changing program needs.

Compensation:

This is a temporary part-time non-exempt employment-at-will position. This position pays $20.00/hr. This position is not benefits eligible.
